
GALLERY MEDIA GROUP INTERNSHIP
During the summer of 2023, I interned at Gallery Media Group, a digital media company based in New York. As a Brand Design and Strategy Intern, I led the rebranding of the company's venue brand, House of Wow, in collaboration with designer Katie Rappaport. Although successful in the past, we felt that their logo and positioning needed to look and feel younger to reach new audiences.
Thus, I wanted to align the House of Wow brand with both the Gen Z audience and our partners. For the typographic mark, I achieved an elegant, modern, and feminine look by using a tall, lowercase serif with a dramatic difference in thin and thick strokes for the logo. For the additional tagline, the use of an uppercase, thin sans serif supports the feeling of luxury, refined, and trendiness that a younger audience would be drawn to.
